Evides Waterbedrijf – Internship: Pilotonderzoek alternatieven transportchloor spaarbekkens Brabantse Biesboch
Opdracht omschrijving:
Evides levert drinkwater in zuid-west Nederland en gebruikt hiervoor voornamelijk
oppervlaktewater. Dit water is grotendeels afkomstig uit de spaarbekkens in de Brabantse
Biesbosch. Vanaf hier transporteren we het water richting de zuiveringslocaties in de regio
Rijnmond en Zeeland.
Om te voorkomen dat aangroei van macro-foulers plaatsvindt aan de buiswand, doseren we een
lage hoeveelheid chloorbleekloog. Door toepassing hiervan ontstaan bijproducten welke ongewenst
zijn. We zoeken daarom naar alternatieven.
Begin 2024 start een grootschalig pilotproject waarin 3 alternatieven parallel worden getest: UVdesinfectie, hoogbelaste snelfiltratie en infiltratie. Alle technologieën hebben voor- en nadelen; het
pilotonderzoek is bedoeld deze nader te kwantificeren. We voeren een brede set analyses uit op
het water dat geproduceerd wordt met de pilotinstallaties.
Jouw taak is om de pilot installaties in bedrijf te stellen; de bedrijfsvoering te regelen,
monsternames te begeleiden en de analyseresultaten te interpreteren. Naar gelang jouw voorkeur
kan er een specifiek deelonderzoek voor jou worden ingericht. Er is full-time ondersteuning vanuit
Evides voor deze opdracht.
