Dispuut Water & Enviroment

Expired: Graduation project: Consideration of the implementation method for underground pipelines

In this graduation internship, you will contribute to the design process of an underground pipeline that will run from land to sea.

Role description:
In this graduation internship, you will contribute to the design process of an underground pipeline that will run from land to sea. This pipeline is necessary to discharge the concentrate from a RO installation into the North Sea. This concentrate consists of water with an increased salt content that will be released during the purification of drinking water. We ask you to contribute to finding the most suitable implementation technique, as well as to the design of the outflow construction that will be realized on the seabed. Your task is to gather knowledge, contribute to the technical assessment, and design the outflow construction. CFD modeling will be used for this purpose. In this graduation internship, you will be able to gain knowledge of the above-mentioned matters. You will be working together with experts from various disciplines.
In addition, there is ample opportunity to contribute your own insights, knowledge, and ideas from your studies and to contribute to innovation within the projects, but also within our team.

You will be part of the Water Optimization team, which is part of Arcadis’ Water & Climate Adaptation advisory group. Together with around 96 colleagues, we work on smart and sustainable solutions for the entire water chain. Our team consists of approximately 20 experts, including process technologists for wastewater, drinking water, and industrial applications, as well as civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and 3D engineers.
