The Water and Climate Adaptation advisory group in Arcadis has seven internships open for September.
The group consists of 90 team members, who are divided into five national teams: Groundwater, Surface and Urban Water, Water Quality and Ecology, Water and Climate Directors and Water Optimization.
Rijkswaterstaat’s current sediment analysis uses traditional image-processing methods, which can be laborious and inconsistent. This internship explores using deep learning to automate and improve grain size predictions from images.
When our drinking water supply network becomes too old, risks of leakages increase and therewith the necessity
to replace piped infrastructure. When piped infrastructure is replaced too early, unnecessary pipe replacements
increase the municipality’s costs which gives rise to the drinking water tariff. Join a team of 25 colleagues who manage and
analyse the different assets of our drinking and wastewater infrastructure.
